Had the opportunity to purchase a bunch of inventory the last few days.  If you have been watching my social media, you know it’s not my typical stuff.  First off, the former owner is still alive at 97 and a retired Doctor and finally moving out of his home.  It was jam packed with fine furnishings and collectibles. I knabbed some great furniture in a Victorian or French Provincial Reproduction style.  Most items were purchased new in the late 60s/early 70s as I can tell.  That said, things are clean and well taken care of.  I already have been processing and listing things so stay tuned to my shops.  I have been adding shipping/delivery into my pricing on Etsy as they are pushing for that. Most furniture sellers do not list shipping but they we get tossed into the Etsy free shipping stuff and it causes some confusion.  I am hedging for shipping in items that need a shipper or greyhound.  Please reach out at any point and I can adjust that number as we research it based on your location.  Want to see what I have?  💕🤗

Gorgeous Lane cedar chest is in amazing condition!

Love this chest with hidden secretary! It, too is in fantastic condition.

It features a flip up top, pull out desk and shelf in the lower cabinet. Beautiful original painted finish.

Amazing authentic Chinese jewelry cabinet.  In perfect condition with lock and key.  

Italian fencing foils. You never know when you will want to challenge someone to a duel. That Chinese rug is in my freezer at the moment. Freezing destroys any moth activity including eggs. I do not want them in my home. A few days in the freezer and no chance of them hitching a ride. No visual sign of moth activity!

The last part of my buy is medical stuff.  Lots of weird stuff.  Yea for that!  I have tool kits, bottles, a scale, vintage sun lamp and so many cool things.  Thinking i will hammer through them and put in my eBay shop. Great news! F Schumacher, whom I have a trade account with, just released their latest line of fabrics and low and behold, Vera!  As a Big fan, I am totally stoked! I immediately ordered samples and they just started showing up.  I will be placing an order and welcome the opportunity to hook you up.  It is only available to purchase to trade account holders like me.  Here’s the deal.  2 yard min or a cut charge, I do pay additional shipping charges.  If you want me to order something for you, I can have your order shipped direct to you, payment required before I order.  All fees will be passed through to you and will include my markup.  I will provide you with a quote. If you want to split a minimum cut with me, I will consider that as well. I am definitely ordering lemons for my kitchen.  Still deciding on what else.  Last...Schumacher is crazy expensive.  It is not something you want to hoard without a plan. This line is priced $60-100+ a yard.  I am selling the Frank Lloyd Wright linens at $40 per 1/4 yard which is 9” by 52” width.  That is retail.  If you want to make pillows, you may want to only make the front panel with this and use a cheaper solid backer. Just a thought. This is gorgeous.  Cotton chintz with a sheen. The full repeat though makes it perfect as curtain panels or maybe a bedspread. You’ll want that to get the full effect!

Fly First Class with some mid mod themed American Airlines swag

So who knew that if you fly first class and especially first class international that airlines actually procure fabulous little swag bags for you?  I mean, I have not flown in years but still have never held a first class seat!  I discovered a fabulous cache of beautiful little premerger American Airlines swag but what makes this special and of interest to us MCM fans?  These bags were designed and badged by Eames Office and feature the awesome DOTS pattern.  They came in a few variations and are quite small.  They were made to distribute tiny sample sizes of toiletries and comfort items for flyers.  I became obsessed and started to grab low priced pieces.  As they started showing up at my home, I found a massive case of NIP SEALED packs that had all the goodies inside.  So I procured this box for my fans!  *****UPDATE***** These bags are available for purchase ON MY WEBSITE! NEW PROJECT: Greek Godess kitschy rain lamp. 

i picked this up a few months back. My husband started working on cleaning it today so we can test it.  

These swanky lights are filled with mineral oil which is pumped up top and follows the fishing line strings down into the bottom. They are tedious to clean but we are hoping this one will fire up.

In order to get the goddesses and foliage out, you need to be very careful and work it out between the fishing line strands.  They are pretty tight and actually strum like a guitar!  

Dawn detergent is the best for cleaning as it helps break down the oil residue. This is a dirty job. The original oil was dried up so at least that was not a mess.

Even the plastic foliage needed to soak in hot soapy water for a while.

Will update more as we move along!  She is going to be awesome after this cleaning and a little love.  Really hoping the motor works.  They can be replaced if needed. ✌️

Just picked up a fabulous Stanley dining room! If you are looking for walnut, this set is gorgeous.  Selling by the piece but will discount if you want to build a room.

Hey Heywood!  Love this cute 4 drawer Encore dresser.  It has been refinished to walnut but the finish is excellent.  Sure it can be stripped and saved, but it really is in good shape to use.  If you like your Hey Wake dark, this one is for you!  I will be listing this weekend I hope....still in my vanagon with all this crap weather! 

Fantastic Bertoia Barstool by Knoll.  This is early and comes with vinyl seat pad in brown. Very good condition with only one broken weld on left edge.  New floor glides too.  Accept no substitutes!
