New stuff, get ready for a whole influx of items!

I am back from a great vacation week and things are about to get nuts! I just bought some great items I am working on getting listed and have another consult this week. I will probably be consigning a whole bunch of really good items so stay tuned and grab it while I got it!

First up is a few things I grabbed from a friend of the family who is cleaning out her late mother’s home. There is a great custom round kitchen table featuring a pedestal base and boomerang Formica top in. Charcoal with pink and white boomerangs. It’s amazing! The iron garden style chair set of 4 is also available. Everything is in great shape and the chairs could be recovered in a fun fabric- currently in cream vinyl.

The table as we were removing it. The top Is disasse for easy transit. Check out the tile work in it’s former home! 😍

I love these great iron chaiRs! There are some missing plastic feet caps on The front legs and i was trying to find a source but no luck, this is a heavY chair I would only use indoors. The seat is a drop IN wooden frame with Padding and vinyl upholstery. They are in nice condition with signs of use. UpholsterY is in goid shapE. No tags or makers noted..

My next adventure was to meet a super man whose late father spent a long career assisting the great designers of Knoll making prototypes and perfecting the production process of these new designs as they got ready to launch. He was a talented cabinetmaker and woodworker. I will be assisting in helping to downsize his vast collection of furniture and accessories that were collected over the span of his career, retiring in the 1990s. There are definitely prototypes in his collection and some items will be in needs work condition. I cannot wait to get my first round cleaned up and on the market. Here is a sneak peek!

The PlaTner coffee taBle is in Special order bronze finish and includes iTalian marBle top. ThE marble will be resealed. The paiR of Frank GehRy designed ‘Hat Trick’ chairs are most likely preproduction pieces as noted by the LaCk of woodburned signatUres and almost sloppy application of glue. ThIs was the last project he worked on before retirement. The delicate yet AMAZINGLY sturdy chairs are unbeliEVably lightweight amd so fun to look at. Eero Saarinen tulip based stool with custom butcher block style seat fabricated as a one of a kind. A few ‘knoll extras’ labeled plastic trash cans and a wicker and chrome chair that i have yet to identify. I haVe much more to unearTh from this property and will be assisting to find it homes. Vacation!

Heads up! I will not be shipping any new orders until July 19th. I may not have consistent internet access during our trip so you may or may not get a prompt reply to questions. Hope you all are enjoying your holiday weekend! I am busy playing gigs with my bands all weekend! That said, heads up…..I will be heading out of town for a week at the end of this week! Exciting as we have not done a vacation in like 4 years. We will probably have periods of off the grid and I will most likely put all my shops on vacation mode. I just don’t want to make anyone sad while I can’t promptly ship their goods. That said, I have a few items on hold as I seek shipping numbers and logistics for folks. Feel free to message me and I will definitely do what I can from afar. We are looking forward to exploring the eastern Adirondack, lake Champlain and Burlington VT areas. Should be a relaxing time with the family and much needed. Things seemed to just spike up again so I am definitely fielding lots of interest right now. If you have been eyeing any furniture….now is the time! My chairish shop is 20% off this weekend so check out the shipping quotes there to see if they make sense. They often get better prices than I can get so if your item is listed, it may be the best option. I definitely can shop other shippers to confirm that too! Sofa-king hot!

Hope everyone is doing well! I am busy sourcing a reception station for my masseuse who is moving into a new shop soon, Found him one quickly at a great price and will be picking it up today and delivering to him this afternoon.

i have been evaluating my own collection and some fun items are getting listed online or in my retail space. You can’t keep them all! Make sure you check back often!

My newest retail space is off to a great start! Thank you for your support! I have more large items coming in so the faster my bedroom items go, the more I can put out there! Incoming: SOFAS! I will be picking up 3 unique and fun sofas this weekend. If you love Hollywood regency….I got you, Rococo fancy and formal…. With a matching chair…..I got you. How about a tuxedo couch just like the one I restored? It’s got a lovely fabric with peacocks or some kind of quail on it. Cannot wait to really check them out. If you are looking for a new to you couch, stay tuned to my social media for firsts looks and condition reports late this weekend. I don’t even know where I am putting them all yet! I would gladly restore any of them to order…..expect to invest upwards of $1500, but it can be done and I can get it done for you and probably faster than ordering a new couch. Here’s a peek!

I just added a really cool brass arc lamp to my retail space. It’s a reproduction of a 70s style but very amazing, priced at $125 and it pulls up off the base for easier transit. I used it for a bit but moved things around.
