More things moving out this week and I just sold my Heywood Wakefield cabinet!  It will be shipping via Chairish white glove to Atlanta.  My 2nd white glove shipment.  I must say, things do not move fast with white glove.  It can take up to 6 weeks to receive your item!  The couch took a week to be picked up and it is still in transit.  I guess you are at the mercy of the common carrier's route and schedule. It is definitely a learning experience!

i just won a few things on an online auction tonight!  My husband will be picking up while I am at the Pyrex show.  There is a lovely Paul McCobb bench similar to one I had a while back in black.  McCobb pieces are simple and sleek.  💗. I also managed to snag a large set of his Contempri China that I just adore!  Happy birthday to me!  I have one chipped serving dish that I thrifted a while back and just fell in love with the pattern never expecting to get my hands on more!  The last item I won was a daybed, similar to the one I just restored but without hairpin legs.

I also picked up a suspected Adrian Pearsall/Craft Associates Wave Lounge chair.  It is amazingly comfy!  Needs new upholstery so another project in waiting.  Fun times ahead!

My next project, though, will be weaving!  It has been a few years since my Danish paper cord repairs.  I now have 4 Gio Ponte Italian ladder back chairs in a pretty aged black finish....nice and chippy like those chalk painters love! All 4 need new seats and some gluing up.  I went to the basket supply shop and came home with a large coil of sea grass.  Unlike the Danish pieces which use the paper cord....it's really folded Kraft paper, the Italian chairs used sea grass. Sea grass is ridiculously cheaper than Danish paper cord too.  I am looking forward to bringing this set back to life as I think they have great character and would go well in many decor settings.  I will be adding the 2 blond ones that are in sellable condition to this set...so it will be 6 chairs total.

Oh and I almost forgot!  This awesome pole lamp is ready to ship!  She is not going cheap, but my hubs has pretty much rewired her, new sockets and polarized plug, new switch and we spent a day polishing.  She is gorgeous and in fabulous condition!  Check her out!
